Who we are
The Future Collective Limited (company 12470315, Office 14 Burrough Court, Burrough on the Hill, Melton Mowbray LE14 2QS) is the controller for the data in this notice. Contact us at [hello@signedoffby.com](mailto:hello@signedoffby.com).
For data that firms put into their own workspaces, the firm is the controller and we act for it under our [Data Processing Agreement](/dpa).
What we collect, and why
| What | Why | Lawful basis | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| A walkthrough request: your name, work email, firm, role, the platforms you work on, your message, and the tag on the link you followed (it names the introduction, such as a mailing, never you) | To arrange and hold the walkthrough you asked for, and to see which of our introductions led to it | Our legitimate interest in answering your request | 24 months from your request, then deleted automatically, unless you become a customer |
| A try-it plan: the vendor and offering you chose, and the link's tag | To count use of the page | Our legitimate interest in knowing the page is used | Kept as counts by tag; it holds no personal data |
| The brief you type into the try-it page | To make the plan you see | Your request | Not stored: it is used once and discarded |
| Account details if you create a workspace | To run your account | Our contract with your firm | Until the workspace is deleted |
We don't use analytics or advertising tools, set no tracking cookies, and never sell personal data. The only cookie is the sign-in cookie for people who have an account.
Who else sees it
Railway hosts the site and its database (stored in Amsterdam, the Netherlands). Google Workspace carries our email, including notices of walkthrough requests. Both act for us under data processing terms; Railway and Google are US companies, and transfers rely on the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct or delete it, or to stop using it, by writing to [hello@signedoffby.com](mailto:hello@signedoffby.com). If you're unhappy with how we handle it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
